Night shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (36 hours per week)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse with experience in a high-volume setting to join our dynamic team. This position involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care in our bustling Emergency Department, known for its advanced trauma and stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills and technologies to monitor and assess patient conditions.
• Support a culture of teamwork and respect within the department.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of nursing experience with a minimum of 1 year in an Emergency Room setting.
• Current RN license in North Carolina.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start date; ENPC within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in a Level II trauma center or comprehensive stroke center is preferred.
