Registered Nurse - Neuro Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (18:45 - 07:15). Must work 5-6 weekend shifts, equating to every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Unit. This role involves providing exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment, focusing on patient safety and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, document care, and respond to changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIH stroke scale experience preferred.
• Neuro experience preferred.
• Charge nurse role experience or willingness to learn preferred.
