Oncology RN - Outpatient Infusion

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

• Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule (08:00 - 17:00)
• Possible shifts: 7:45-16:15, 8-16:30, 8:30-17:00, 9-17:30, 9:30-18:00
• Weekends not required

Job Description

The Oncology RN will be responsible for administering outpatient infusions and performing port draws in a well-supported clinic environment. The manager values travelers as integral team members, providing recognition and opportunities for awards. This position requires familiarity with Alaris Infusion Pumps and CADD Ambulatory Pumps.

Responsibilities

• Perform 6 infusions plus 1-2 port draws daily.
• Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients during infusion therapy.
• Provide care and management of ports and central lines.
• Implement neutropenic precautions and manage acute conditions related to treatment!

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of experience in Oncology/Infusion as an RN.
• Oncology certification (ONCC or ONS) required.
• BLS certification required.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• First-time travelers accepted.
