Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong work ethic and possess the necessary certifications. Duties include diagnosing and treating respiratory conditions, conducting various tests, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Set up and monitor equipment used for patient care.
• Evaluate and monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active licensure in the relevant state.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• For CHMC ER, completion of EDAP I AND II or ENPC within 60 days is required.
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or declination is necessary.
• Drug screening (minimum 10-panel test) and background screening will be conducted.
