Job Description

The Cath Lab Technician will be responsible for various procedures related to cardiac and cerebral interventions, including scrubbing during catheterization and angiogram procedures. The technician will work closely with the surgical team in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist during cardiac catheterization and cerebral angiogram procedures.
• Perform scrubbing duties as required.
• Operate and maintain radiological equipment within the Cath Lab.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately using Meditech and MacLab.
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed, with a maximum of 15 days call during critical periods.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Experience scrubbing in cath lab procedures.
• Preferred certifications: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
