Job Description

The Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the emergency department. The role involves assessing patients, developing care plans, administering treatments, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients in the emergency department.
• Administer medications and provide necessary treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes appropriately.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and necessary follow-up care.
• Document patient care appropriately and maintain compliance with organizational policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
• A permanent address more than 50 miles from the facility is required.
• All certifications must be current and submitted with your application.
