Job Description

The CVOR RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. As part of a specialized cardiovascular team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing heart surgeries and ensure a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and manage patient care pre, intra, and post-operatively.
• Collaborate with surgical and medical teams during cardiovascular procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Meditech EMR.
• Respond to patient needs with effective communication and support.
• Participate in on-call shifts as necessary, typically 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-year current acute care CVOR RN hospital experience.
• Active Kansas RN licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• PALS certification is preferred.
