Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting and possess an active nursing license. This role requires expertise in patient care, including telemetry monitoring and involvement in various procedures such as wound care and drain management.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical surgical environment.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings.
• Assist with intravenous therapy and medication administration.
• Conduct bedside shift reports and ensure hourly safety rounding.
• Perform necessary procedures, including central line dressing changes and foley catheter insertions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
• Active RN license required at the time of submission.
• BLS certification required.
• IV certification is mandatory.
