OR Rad Tech Position

Job Description

The OR Rad Tech is a vital position responsible for providing specialized imaging services within the operating room environment. This role involves operating radiographic equipment, assisting surgeons, and ensuring high-quality imaging outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures using GE OEC C-arms and GE/Shimadzu portable X-ray machines.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to provide timely imaging support during procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while performing imaging duties.
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Schedule

This is a full-time position consisting of 5 shifts per week, working 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Call and weekend availability may also be required.

Required Experience / Certifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an OR setting.
• Proficient in the operation of GE OEC C-arms and GE/Shimadzu portable equipment.
• ARRT and BLS (AHA) certifications are mandatory.
