Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery - 13 Weeks

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with no call requirements. 4 weekend shifts required during the schedule.

Job Description

This Level 4 designated maternal center provides care for complex patients at any gestation. The unit features 22 beds, including 16 labor beds, and a dedicated team of approximately 100 staff members, including RNs and support staff. The role requires experience with high-risk maternal patients, including circulating in operating rooms and triage responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vaginal and cesarean section deliveries, tubal ligations, cerclage placements and removals, and D&C C-hyst procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the team to manage patient care efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure compliance with protocols and guidelines specific to maternal and neonatal care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have RN licensure.
• Required experience in high-risk maternal care.
• Preferred: Greater than 5 years of nursing experience.
