Job Description

The Emergency Room Nurse (ER RN) will provide critical care to patients in emergency situations. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team providing exceptional healthcare services to the community.

Responsibilities

• Administer emergency treatments to patients in critical condition.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document all relevant information.
• Collaborate with medical staff on treatment plans and patient care.
• Participate in life-saving procedures, including intubation and conscious sedation.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and report to medical team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of ER experience required.
• PALS or ENPC, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills necessary.

Dress Code

• Scrub Color: Navy (with white, navy, or black undershirts and jackets).
• Nail Policy: No acrylic nails, clean, and no chipped nail polish.
• Hair: Must be off shoulders and in natural colors.
• Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible, with exceptions addressed individually.
• Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.
