Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Med Surg Floor. This role involves providing high-quality care to medical and surgical patients, with occasional care for post-partum and pediatric patients. The facility is a community-owned, not-for-profit hospital that is Joint Commission Accredited.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and manage patient care plans
• Monitor and assess patient conditions
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse license in Louisiana
• Experience in a medical-surgical setting preferred
• ACLS/BLS certification
