Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Available shifts are nights - 12 hours from 7 PM to 7 AM, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Candidates are required to complete 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

Join a dynamic team within the West 7 Med/Tele Complex Care unit, consisting of 37 beds. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive care for patients in a fast-paced medical/surgical telemetry environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in an acute care setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry data.
• Administer medications and provide treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent experience in acute med/surg telemetry is required.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license and AHA BLS certification are mandatory.
