Electrophysiology Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Technician to join our team. The technician will play a critical role in the cardiac catheterization lab, assisting with various procedures and ensuring optimal patient care. The ideal candidate should have experience in structural heart, IABP, and Impella procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in electrophysiology and cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as GE Innova and Impella during procedures.
• Document patient data and procedures accurately using MacLab and Meditech.
• Participate in ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) call approximately 10 to 12 days a month.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience in cardiac cath lab, structural heart, and advanced heart procedures.
• Knowledge of PCI, PFO, Impella, and IABP procedures.
