Night shifts (19:00 - 07:30) for 4 days a week, rotating holidays and weekends.

Job Description

Join our 12-bed unit specializing in Oncology, Thoracic, and Bariatric surgery. As an Oncology Registered Nurse, you will provide exemplary care to patients undergoing treatment, ensuring their safety and comfort during chemotherapy and other procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed.
• Monitor patients for side effects and reactions related to chemotherapy.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Meditech.
• Perform patient assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Oncology.
• Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active Maryland RN license or compact license required at the time of submittal.
