Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry / Stroke Care

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating care needed by assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN must be knowledgeable about principles, theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN collaborates closely with patients, their families, professional peers, and other healthcare team members to individualize patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement and evaluate care according to established protocols.
• Direct nursing support staff in delivering high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for comprehensive patient management.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.

Schedule

This position requires 3 x 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, totaling 36 hours per week.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in clinical specialty is preferred.
• Current PA Registered Nurse License is required.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Multi-State Compact RN License is required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
