Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Schedule

This position operates on a 12-hour night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with variations as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room will play a critical role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care during surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have expertise across a variety of cases including robotics, neurology, orthopedics, plastics, and gynecology. This role requires a minimum of two years of experience in the operating room specialty.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgical interventions.
• Monitor patient vital signs and responses to anesthesia and other medications throughout procedures.
• Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to safety protocols in all operating room activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of two years of experience in the operating room specialty.
• Required: AHA BLS certification.
• Preferred: ACLS certification.
