Registered Nurse - Med-Surg with Floating Requirements

This is a night shift position, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) who is willing to float to various medical surgical floors, including Ortho, Med-Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Tele. The position may require travel to the West Lakes Campus, which is approximately 9.5 miles from downtown.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care across multiple units.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient needs.
• Monitor and record patient progress and vital signs.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license required.
• Ability to float to various units as needed.
• Must pass a Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and background checks.
• Vaccination records required, including COVID-19, Varicella, MMR, and Hepatitis B.
