Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Float

Schedule

This position requires availability for a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to float to various medical-surgical floors, including Ortho, Med-Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Telemetry. The RN will also have responsibilities at our WestLakes Campus, located approximately 9.5 miles from downtown.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients across multiple units.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in accordance with policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred.
• Ability to float to different units as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
