Registered Nurse - Level II Trauma NT/SICU

Day shift, 12-hour shift starting at 0700.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Level II trauma NT/SICU unit. This unit has 12 beds and operates on a 2:1 patient ratio, specializing in neuro/trauma patients. The nurse will be expected to care for patients with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains, while also being flexible to float to the Cardiovascular Unit, Telemetry Care Unit, ICU/CCU, or Med Surg units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to neuro/trauma patients.
• Monitor and manage patients with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains.
• Float to various units as needed, including Cardiovascular, Telemetry, ICU/CCU, and Med Surg.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 5 years of acute critical care experience.
• EPIC charting experience is mandatory.
• Experience in Level II trauma critical care.
• Current California RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Previous traveler experience is preferred.
