OB RN - Maternity Department

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights, 7 PM to 7 AM with call requirements of 3 x 12-hour calls in a 4-week schedule, including one weekend call. Call must be within 60 minutes of arrival.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced OB RN to join our Maternity Department. The ideal candidate will provide nursing care primarily in the areas of Post-Partum, Nursery, and Labor & Delivery, with the possibility of floating to Med/Surg based on patient census.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Maternity Department, including monitoring and supporting patients in Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, and Nursery.
• Ability to scrub and circulate for emergency c-sections.
• Participate in the assessment and management of maternal and neonatal patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Dysthymia course completion.
• AWHONN basic and intermediate fetal monitoring course completion.
• Must possess an active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
