Labor and Delivery Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12 hour shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Labor and Delivery Nurse to provide exceptional care for mothers and newborns. This role requires expertise in labor and delivery as well as postpartum couplet care.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery care to patients.
• Administer care and support to postpartum mothers and their newborns.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse within the last 6 months.
• Postpartum couplet care experience.
• Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications (must not expire within 30 days of start).
• Valid NJ or Compact RN License (pending licenses will not be accepted).
