Job Description

This position provides optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the context of the nursing process. The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for individualized patient outcomes throughout the entire episode of care. Comprehensive nursing services are provided to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families/caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Provide care for patients with conditions including CHF, alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMI, sepsis, and dysrhythmias.
• Administer non-titratable cardiac medication drips.
• Float to Intensive Care Units and medical surgical units as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience.
• NV RN license required prior to start.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Candidate must pass a telemetry competency exam.
