ICU/PCU Registered Nurse

Schedule

This position requires the flexibility to work in both day and night shifts. Three 12-hour shifts are needed to accommodate varied scheduling needs.

Job Description

The ICU/PCU Registered Nurse plays a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients in an intensive care setting. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring and assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This is a high-performance role, and nurses are expected to meet low, mid, or high performer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU/PCU setting.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on care procedures and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Experience in an ICU/PCU setting is preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
