Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Night shift, 3-12 hour shifts, 7 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). As an RN in this role, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the MICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.
• Float to all 3 ICUs and Emergency Department for patient holds.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 18 months recent Critical Care/ICU experience is required.
• Must have a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; NIHSS certification preferred.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for submission.
