Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurse to join our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. This role focuses on the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced a severe injury or illness. Our renowned rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey.

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to assist patients recovering from various conditions such as stroke, brain injury, neurological issues, trauma, spinal cord injuries, amputation, and orthopedic injuries. This position plays a critical role in maximizing the health, function, and quality of life for the individuals we serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments for patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while ensuring patient safety.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management and rehabilitation strategies.
• Document patient care accurately in compliance with facility protocols and standards.

Schedule

This position operates on a 06:30 to 19:00 shift.
