Schedule

This position is a 5 x 8 hour shift (Monday through Friday) with a day shift start time ranging from 0700 to 0800.

Job Description

We are seeking two Radiotherapy Technologists to support our Radiation Oncology department. This role involves working closely with patients and the healthcare team to deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and align patients using various imaging techniques for radiation therapy treatments.
• Assess patient status during direct interaction and refer to appropriate healthcare team members as necessary.
• Prepare for treatment delivery, including chart/film checks, room set-up, calculations, and electronic medical record (MOSAIQ) checks.
• Perform patient set-up and CT scans for radiation therapy treatment planning purposes, as needed.
• Collaborate with other radiation therapists and team members to perform additional tasks.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience required.
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ preferred.
• ARRT certification and CA RTT license are mandatory.
• BLS certification is required.
