Job Description

A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is needed for a 13-week assignment at a Veterans Home in Eastern Montana. The position offers 36 hours per week guaranteed. The role involves providing therapeutic interventions to assist patients in enhancing their daily living skills and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans designed by occupational therapists.
• Provide therapeutic services to patients to enhance their ability to perform daily activities.
• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Support patients in gaining independence and improving their functional mobility.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Demonstrated experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting preferred.
