MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, working three 12-hour shifts. Flexibility to work weekends required.

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the Nursing Process as per guidelines.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in patient management.
• Delegate and supervise nursing staff accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures during patient care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active AZ RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar nursing role.
• Experience with Cerner EMR.
