Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat assigned patients with an emphasis on developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with their needs and goals, following physician direction. This role is essential in ensuring that all therapeutic services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and create appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document patient care accurately and timely, including goal writing and charge entry, complying with all applicable guidelines.
• Ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals as needed.
• Participate in the education and supervision of students, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain licensure and continuing education requirements.
• Contribute to organizational performance improvement initiatives and adhere to safety standards.

Schedule

This position operates under a 5x8.0 shift schedule, with an expected workload of 40 hours per week, beginning on August 3rd.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Active and applicable state license for practicing physical therapy.
