Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with the patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that allow for an effective return to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive evaluation of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focused on progressing patients towards discharge.
• Document care in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Participate in student programs as appropriate, providing a positive learning environment.
• Actively create and pursue professional development plans.
• Adhere to professional standards and codes of conduct while maintaining licensure in good standing.
• Understand and engage in organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Aurora, CO & Highlands Ranch, CO

Schedule

This position offers a 5x8.0 schedule, totaling 40 hours per week.

Assignment Duration

This is a 6-month contract position.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state license for physical therapy.
