Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab settings and be proficient in a variety of cardiac procedures. The RN will be required to perform duties as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team dedicated to patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients accurately and provide clinical assessments.
• Set up and calibrate equipment for various cardiac procedures.
• Assist in Diagnostic Catheterizations and Interventional procedures.
• Perform EKG lead placement and prep access sites.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias promptly.
• Maintain sterile procedures and assist in surgical processes as needed.
• Utilize medication systems and documentation systems (e.g., Pyxis, EPIC).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Cardiac Catheterization certification (CCI RCIS) is preferred.
• Previous experience with Vascular Closure Systems and critical care protocols.
