Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a dynamic and high-pace environment. This role involves providing comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients with orthopedic and medical/surgical needs. The RN will be responsible for charge duties as needed and will manage telemetry monitoring for patients. Candidates should demonstrate a strong clinical skill set and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care on a 29-bed unit with diverse patient populations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and vital signs.
• Carry out charge RN duties and lead nursing staff as required.
• Participate in physical therapy sessions and interdisciplinary care planning.
• Assist with emergency and acute patient needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar setting.
• Previous travel RN experience is required.
• Charge RN experience is mandatory.
• BLS certification required.
• Must have a valid RN license in hand at the time of submission.
• Experience with the electronic charting system (Epic) is required.
