This is a 13-week contract position with a shift from 7A to 6P. The role includes a call commitment of one weeknight and one weekend per month.

Job Description

Invasive Cardiovascular Technologists are essential allied health professionals who perform diagnostic examinations at the request or direction of an Interventional Cardiologist. This role is critical during invasive cardiology, noninvasive cardiology, and peripheral vascular study procedures. The technologist is responsible for collecting and recording subjective data, which aids in establishing correct anatomical and physiological diagnoses for each patient.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic examinations under the direction of an Interventional Cardiologist.
• Collect and record subjective data to support accurate patient diagnoses.
• Maintain effective communication with the clinical team and patients during procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of an Associate Degree or a graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Training Program or Allied Health Program.
• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
• At least 2 years of experience in the cardiovascular specialty.
• Must obtain and maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
