Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend requirement.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is a clinical practitioner responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the assigned units. The RN ensures quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit's standards of care. This position demands demonstration of quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice, while treating staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure quality and safe care is delivered in alignment with unit standards.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with patients and team members.
• Provide support in low census situations as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
• BLS Certification from AHA required.
• ACLS Certification from AHA required.
• PALS Certification from AHA required (or ENPC).
• TNCC OR ATCN certification required.
• CPI or Equivalent preferred.
