Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care in the Operating Room setting, ensuring the highest standards of nursing care are maintained. This role requires collaboration with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure safe practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various surgical procedures, including liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients.
• Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously during procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Adhere to all infection control policies and safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience.
• Current Texas RN license (temporary licenses are not accepted).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with Meditech preferred.
