Travel Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating shifts, including days and nights, with weekends on rotation. 3x12 hour shifts per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Travel Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care in an inpatient adolescent psychiatric setting for patients aged 14-17. The RN will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring effective treatment plans are followed.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical activities within the assigned unit, ensuring adherence to nursing philosophy and standards.
• Formulate and monitor the unit's capital and personnel budgets.
• Direct staffing and scheduling of nursing personnel while supervising the delivery of patient care.
• Coordinate orientation and educational needs for nursing staff.
• Maintain effective working relationships with other disciplines and promote positive public relations for the Nursing Department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Inpatient adolescent psychiatric experience is mandatory.
• De-escalation training/certification is required; can attend SAFE Training Course onsite if necessary.
• Floating required to Adolescent and Geriatric Behavioral Health units.
