Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse

Days, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM; floating and call required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse to join our team. The role involves providing general medical-surgical nursing duties within an inpatient nursing unit, including occasional care for non-critical pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
• Perform assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during their stay.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Must hold a valid RN license in the state of New Mexico; fingerprints are required for all travelers.
