Job Description

The Cath Lab Technician will be responsible for assisting in various procedures within the cardiac catheterization lab, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients while adhering to hospital protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with a variety of cardiac procedures including PCI, TAVR, PFO, IABP, and Impella.
• Maintaining the operation of equipment, including GE Innova and Impella.
• Documenting all procedures and patient information in MacLab and Meditech systems.
• Participating in STEMI call rotation (approximately 10 to 12 days a month).
• Collaboration with the unit secretaries and other tech personnel to ensure smooth operations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience in a Cath Lab environment with expertise in Structural Heart, IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR.
• Advanced skills are required in PCI, PFO, and related procedures.
