Job Description

The Seasonal RN for Labor and Delivery will provide essential care in the Delivery Room, ensuring the well-being of mothers and newborns during labor and postpartum stages. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate and effective nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care for high-risk labor, including c-sections.
• Manage antepartum and postpartum patients, ensuring adherence to care protocols.
• Assist in various procedures including C-sections, inductions, AROM, IUPC, and Doppler monitoring.
• Utilize medical equipment such as Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, and telemetry monitoring systems.
• Record patient data and maintain accurate documentation in Meditech/CPN EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP.
• EFM-C or AWHONN certification preferred.
• Experience with circulating C-sections and high-risk labor is a plus.
