Radiologic Technologist - 3-D Mammography

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5 days a week from 07:00 AM to 06:00 PM.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, and stereotactic biopsies. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, including the use of isolation precautions and PPE, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct various imaging procedures, including screening and diagnostic mammograms.
• Perform needle aspirations and localizations as required.
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as part of charting responsibilities.
• Assist in patient care activities and support interdisciplinary teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of charge experience.
• Valid ARRT certification and BLS certification required.
• Experience with any community hospital charting systems, preferably Epic.
• Experience in performing 3-D mammography and related procedures.
