Travel CT Scan Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 hour nights, Tuesday through Thursday, from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist. This role includes performing a variety of imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining high standards of image quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT scans of the head, brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and specialty biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Ensure the availability and sterility of imaging equipment and supplies.
• Maintain quality control of imaging equipment and procedures.
• Assist physicians and radiologists with angiographic and other specialized procedures.
• Adhere to departmental protocols while following safety standards for patients and staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Completion of at least one previous travel assignment successfully.
• ARRT certification (Radiography) and BLS certification are required.
• ARRT certification in CT is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with EMR systems such as Cerner and/or Change Healthcare PACs is preferred.
