Schedule

Day shift available: 5x8s or 4x10s depending on clinic needs. Typical hours are:

• 5x8s: Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM; occasionally from 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• 4x10s: Staggered shifts starting at either 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM or 08:00 AM - 06:30 PM

Job Description

This position involves providing radiation therapy to patients across two clinical sites in Wilmington, NC. The primary site is equipped with three Varian linear accelerators and a CT simulator, while the sister site features one Varian True Beam linear accelerator and a Siemens CT simulator. The Radiation Therapist will float between these facilities and collaborate with an on-site MD and RN.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments under the supervision of physicians.
• Assist with patient positioning and simulation for treatment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and patient documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in radiation therapy.
• ARRT certification required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification necessary.
• Experience with equipment: Varian linear accelerators, CT simulation, and ARIA system preferred.
