Supervisor/Charge Nurse - Med Surg and ER

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts (7p-7a), 36 hours a week. Block scheduling preferred, 6 on and 8 off.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Supervisor/Charge Nurse to oversee our Med Surg and ER departments. The ideal candidate will serve as a working supervisor, able to apply their time in both Med Surg and ER as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff in the Med Surg and ER departments.
• Ensure high-quality patient care and safety standards are met.
• Assist in the assessment, planning, and implementation of patient care plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive services.
• Manage daily operations of the departments, including staff scheduling and communication.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Submit any OB/Newborn Stabilization education/training received.
