Registered Nurse - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights (1900-0730) with rotating weekends. One 12-hour call shift required per pay period.

Job Description

The LDRP team offers comprehensive labor, delivery, and recovery services, including postpartum and newborn care, provided by a highly trained team of nurses and medical staff in a family-centered, safe, and caring environment. All team members are trained in GYN surgical care.

Responsibilities

• Providing care throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Assisting with postpartum care and newborn assessments.
• Conducting triage assessments and interventions.
• Monitoring fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
• Stabilizing high-risk neonates when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
• AHA ACLS and NRP certifications are required.
• Basic Fetal Monitoring skills required; STABLE certification preferred.
• Previous experience in triage, labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery care is required.
• Experience in stabilizing high-risk neonates is preferred.
