This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), with weekend availability required (Friday to Sunday).

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound services in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, and emergency room cases. The position requires the use of Philips ultrasound systems, and the technologist will work with a high volume of breast work, including biopsies.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations on patients as per physician orders.
• Utilize Philips ultrasound systems for various imaging cases.
• Work collaboratively with the medical team to assess and document patient findings.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
• Assist in special procedures such as paracentesis and thoracentesis.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist is required (minimum 1 year).
• Charge experience preferred.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certifications in Abdominal (RDMS AB) and Obstetrics/Gynecology (RDMS OB/GYN) required.
• ARDMS Breast certification preferred, but training and support will be provided.
• Experience with charting systems (Epic) is required.
