Registered Nurse - Cardiac Med/Tele

Schedule

Nights - 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Available for 36 and 48 hours per week, with options for 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Candidates must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Med/Tele unit, which consists of 43 beds. This is a fast-paced environment, and the ideal candidate will adapt to the needs of the facility, including occasionally floating to other units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients in a cardiac medical/surgical unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vitals and assess conditions regularly.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create comprehensive care plans.
• Support and educate patients and their families regarding health issues.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical or telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.

Required Licensure and Certifications

• Active New York State RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.

Assignment Duration

This position is for a 16-week contract duration, with guaranteed hours.
