Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to join our team in the Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a labor and delivery setting and be familiar with a variety of procedures including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&E, D&C, tubal ligation, vaginal repair, and hysterectomy. You will play a vital role in providing excellent patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures within the labor and delivery unit.
• Prepare the operating room and ensure all necessary equipment is available for procedures.
• Maintain sterile techniques and infection control practices.
• Provide support to RNs and other team members as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certified Surgical Tech certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
• Previous experience in labor and delivery is essential.
