Pediatric Catheterization Lab Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Catheterization Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of direct pediatric catheterization lab experience, with a focus on pediatric congenital patients. This role is vital for providing high-quality care and performing specialized procedures for our younger patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency catheterization procedures on pediatric patients.
• Accurate monitoring during procedures and maintenance of sterile field.
• Assist in advanced cardiac procedures including ASD closures, TAVR, and more.
• Utilize hemodynamic monitoring systems to assess patient status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of direct pediatric catheterization lab experience required.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and CCI RCIS.
• State of Florida license or compact license required at time of submission.
• Preferred experience with pediatric congenital patients and structural heart procedures.

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a day shift schedule of 4x10 hours, from 06:30 to 17:00. On-call duties will be required as needed.
