Day Shift: 4x12 Hour (07:00 - 19:00), every other weekend required.

Job Description

The ICU RN will provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment. They will float between units as needed and must possess strong cardiac and neuro experience along with general surgery and trauma experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in the ICU setting with a typical nurse to patient ratio of 1:2-1:3.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care meetings to develop patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to families regarding patient conditions and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2-3 years of ICU experience required.
• Valid RN license required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with trauma, general surgery, and cardiac/neurological patients preferred.
